Kitchen overhaul

This client wanted to replace the flooring, paint the walls, add new appliances, new countertops, new backsplash, new lighting, and some new cabinets.

BEFORE:

This picture shows the separation between the kitchen and the dining room.

There  is a half wall with columns separating the two rooms.

Stove and dishwasher needed to be replace and cabinets updated.

AFTER:

Light rail and new crown molding was added to the cabinets as well as under cabinet lighting.

An exotic granite was chosen to accent the colors in the window.  Granite was also used to make the windowsills.

A new shelf was added above the corner window extending from the wall cabinets.

The new crown molding was extended onto the new shelf unifying the cabinets and the shelf

Three of the five recessed lights that were added are visible.  What is not seen is the fluorescent light fixture that was removed, textured and painted to match.

A new gas range was installed as well as a decorative insert into the backsplash.

Two custom cabinets were built and installed as support for a new granite counter that separates the kitchen from the dining room.   The support columns were removed and textured and painted to match.
